Current Express Entry Draw Invites 3,200 Candidates For PR

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has executed a new all-program Express Entry Draw.

In this all-program draw, aspirants from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were chosen for the recent Express Entry selection.

On September 19, 2023, during this Express Entry Draw, invitations were extended to 3,200 participants from the existing pool. Contenders who were invited needed a minimum CRS rating of 531 to qualify for this special round.

If multiple candidates have the same score, the one who submitted their Express Entry profile first gets priority.

After a hiatus of more than a month, this marks Canada's 🍁inaugural Express Entry selection. The number of Express Entry selections has increased this summer compared to previously, thanks to the new system of category-based invitation rounds. Still, no selection has taken place after the latest event on August 15, during which 4,300 participants received ITAs.

There isn't a universal profile suitable for Canada PR through the All-program Express Entry selection.

Candidates competing through the Canada PR channel associated with any Express Entry are assessed through a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Elements determining the CRS score encompass Age, Linguistic Capability, Academic Background, Professional History, Partner Endorsement, Regional Recommendation, Canadian Relatives, and Flexibility.

Those attaining the peak values in the CRS scoring system stand a higher chance to secure an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residency🍁.
