The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has recently conducted a fresh Expression of Interest (EOI) draw, marking the first invitation round for August.
In the recent PEI PNP draw held on August 03, 2023, a total of 58 candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Labor & Express Entry stream. However, no Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream invitations were issued during this draw.

- ITAs were extended to candidates working in various sectors, including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Construction, Hotel/Accommodation, and Agriculture.
This draw aligns with the proposed Prince Edward Island PNP draw schedule for 2023.
Over the past year, the PEI PNP has issued a total of 2,364 invitations to Labor & Express Entry candidates and 74 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.
In the past 12 months, the PEI PNP issued Labor & Express Entry invitations to 97% of eligible candidates, while Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations were offered to 3% of qualified applicants.
Embarking on the Path to Prince Edward Island Immigration
The process of immigrating to Prince Edward Island through PEI PNP requires candidates to create a profile in the province's Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Eligible candidates are then placed in the pool and assigned a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on their profile. Periodic draws are conducted, inviting the highest-ranking candidates to submit applications.
PEI PNP grants ITAs to qualified candidates on a monthly basis, with occasional exceptions. The frequency, capacity, and date of the subsequent draw are based on the PEI PNP application inventory's requirements and the predefined timetable.
