Turkey Visa — Types & Requirements

Visa Types

• Business Sticker Visa — for business meetings, conferences, trade fairs.
• Tourist Sticker Visa — for sightseeing, visiting family/friends, attending events.
• Tourist e-Visa — online short-stay tourist visa (subject to eligibility).

Documents Required — Business Sticker Visa

• Visa application form (filled manually in blue/black ink, block letters) with:
  • One biometric photo attached and applicant's signature.
• Original passport:
  • Valid at least 6 months on arrival and minimum two full blank pages.
  • If passport not issued in consulate jurisdiction → local address proof (registered lease/license agreement copy).
  • All previous passports and proof of lost passport with FIR (if any).
• Two biometric photos (white background, 2.5 in × 2.5 in).
• Cover & registration letter from employer / company (designation, purpose, expenses, duration).
  • Chamber of Commerce registration letter — attested by Mantralaya/MEA & notarized.
• Invitation letter from Turkish invitee/company with:
  • Name & passport no. of invitees, designation, duration & purpose of stay.
  • Company tax number, letterhead, signature, seal/stamp and pledge for expenses & responsibility.
• Financial proof:
  • Last 3 months’ salary slips (with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp).
  • Last 6 months’ bank statement (original or bank-attested copies) — minimum ₹1,00,000 balance per person.
  • Last 3 years IT returns.
  • Aadhaar card and PAN card.
• If self-employed — company registration documents (original notarized and Mantralaya/MEA attested).
• Hotel reservation (full address + contact number).
• Flight itinerary.
• Travel insurance — medical coverage minimum €30,000 (policy provided at submission by Türkiye Visa Application Centers).

Documents Required — Tourist Sticker Visa

• Visa application form (manual, blue/black ink) with biometric photo and applicant signature (legal guardian signs for minors).
• Original passport (6+ months validity on arrival, 2 blank pages).
  • If passport issued outside consulate jurisdiction → local address proof.
  • All previous passports and FIR copy if applicable.
• Biometric photos (white background, 2.5 in × 2.5 in).
• Covering letter by applicant (designation, purpose, expenses, duration).
• Leave letter / NOC from employer.
• If self-employed — company registration docs (notary + Mantralaya/MEA attested).
• Hotel reservation (with contact number & address).
• Flight itinerary.
• Minors — consent letter from both parents on stamp paper with photos & notarized (required in all cases).
• If married — marriage certificate issued by registrar / attested affidavit (notary).
• Travel insurance — medical coverage minimum €30,000.
• Financial proof:
  • Last 3 months’ salary slips (with letterhead/signature/seal).
  • Last 6 months’ personal bank statement (original or attested copies) — minimum ₹1,00,000 balance per person.
  • Last 3 months IT returns.
  • If retired — personal bank statement with minimum ₹1,00,000 balance.
  • Aadhaar & PAN card of travellers.

Documents Required — Tourist e-Visa

• Front & back color scans of new & old passports (passport validity > 6 months, two blank pages).
• Two passport-size photos (white background, ~80% face visible).
• Valid visa or residency permit from USA, UK, Schengen countries, or Ireland.
• Air tickets and hotel voucher (optional).

Processing Time

• e-Visa: ~3 working days after submission.
• Business Visa: ~10–12 working days after submission.
• Tourist Visa (sticker): ~10–12 working days after submission.
• Note: Processing time counted after all required documents are submitted; embassy may request additional documents.

Visa Fees (Indicative for Indian Nationals)
