Overview Of Latest Manitoba PNP Draw
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) recently initiated a new round of invitations under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system.
The most recent draw for the Manitoba PNP took place on July 27, 2023, during which 609 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were distributed across all three MPNP streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas. To be considered in this round, candidates were required to have Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging between 614 and 717.
This draw marked the sixth EOI draw by Manitoba in July.

Out of the total 609 LAAs issued in this draw, 106 were distributed to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The draw on July 27th further emphasizes MPNP's ongoing trend of conducting draws with higher numbers of ITAs and lower CRS scores. These regular invitation rounds indicate Manitoba's intention to increase the number of eligible candidates for provincial nominations under its MPNP-managed streams.
The Skilled Worker pathway, which comprises the “Skilled Worker Overseas” and "Skilled Workers in Manitoba” streams, is driven by the needs of Manitoba's employers. The MPNP selects internationally trained workers with skills that match local labour market requirements and nominates them for Canada PR visas to settle and work in the province.
On the flip side, the International Education Stream (IES) paves a swift nomination pathway for global students who have graduated from accredited post-secondary institutions in Manitoba. This stream branches into three distinct pathways: the Career Employment Pathway, the Graduate Internship Pathway, and the International Student Entrepreneur Pilot (ISEP).
The Manitoba PNP routinely extends an invitation to the top-scoring candidates within its pool to present a complete application to the MPNP. These Manitoba PNP draws typically occur bi-weekly, subject to certain exceptions. The schedule, size, and timing of subsequent draws will depend on the MPNP application inventory's requirements.
