Overview Of latest Quebec Draw
The Minister of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) recently conducted a draw for the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). This marked the ninth draw of this kind for the year 2023.
The latest draw took place on June 29, 2023, and it aimed at 1,218 candidates, specifically those with suitable academic qualifications and job experience in professions in high demand in Quebec. Moreover, applicants needed to achieve a score of at least 584 points.
The extraction from the Arrima bank happened on June 26, 2023, at 6:30 a.m.
Who made the cut?
The guidelines for inviting candidates to apply for permanent selection were made available under Section 45 of the Quebec Immigration Act. In this most recent draw, 1,218 invitations were sent out to candidates meeting the subsequent eligibility criteria:
Category 1
- These candidates demonstrated a French oral proficiency of level 7 or above as per the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrantes adultes (Quebec scale of French proficiency levels for adult immigrants) or a corresponding measure.
- They had to score a minimum of 584 points and have a valid job offer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

0213 - Managers in Computer and Information Systems
2147 - Computer Engineers (excluding Software Engineers and Designers)
2171 - Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
2172 - Data Administrators and Database Analysts

2174 - Computer Programmers and Developers for Interactive Media
2175 - Web Developers and Designers
2241 - Engineering Technologists and Technicians in Electrical and Electronics
2281 - Technicians in Computer Networking
2282 - Technicians in User Support
2283 - Information Systems Testing Technicians
5223 - Technicians in Graphic Arts
5225 - Technicians in Video and Audio Recording
5241 - Graphic Designers and Illustrators
Category 2
- These candidates demonstrated a French oral proficiency of level 7 or above, according to the same Quebec scale or equivalent.
- They had to score a minimum of 592 points and have a valid job offer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

What's next if you received an invite?
The data from your Expression of Interest will be used for your application for permanent selection. You will have to provide and verify certain information in your application.
Following your application submission, you'll be given a customized list of documents needed to support your Quebec Immigration application. An application for an attestation of knowledge about democratic values and Quebec values will also be sent to you, unless you and your family have already secured this attestation.
From the moment you submit your application, you have a total of 60 days to complete the process.
