In the latest Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draw, the province of Prince Edward Island has invited 104 candidates. Upon receiving nomination, these candidates are awarded an additional 600 CRS points, significantly increasing their chances of securing Canadian permanent residence. This, in turn, paves the way for potential Canadian citizenship. Achieving this transformation, from Canadian permanent residency to full citizenship, can be accomplished with a straightforward ITA.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) conducted a fresh draw on October 19, 2023. Remarkably, this marked the second Expression of Interest (EOI) draw organized by the PEI PNP within the month of October.
The PEI EOI system plays a crucial role in collecting vital data about candidates within the pool. This data is helpful in the process of evaluating and selecting individuals who are most likely to align with Prince Edward Island's economic and labor market needs. This selection process takes into account one or more of the following attributes:
- • Language: English or French;
- • Education: level and field of education and where completed;
- • Skill and work experience level;
- • Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI;
- • Other factors relevant to employment prospects: including but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.
