The most recent PEI PNP draw on August 31, 2023, issued 22 Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the Labor & Express Entry categories. No invitations were sent out for the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream in this particular round.

This latest draw aligns with PEI PNP's planned schedule for 2023.
In the past year, PEI PNP has sent out 2,524 ITAs to Labor & Express Entry candidates and 78 to those in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.

Prince Edward Island Nominee Program
PEI PNP has two main tracks for skilled workers and grads from abroad: the Labor Impact track and the Express Entry track.
The Labor Impact category is aimed at skilled folks who have the expertise and experience that employers in PEI are looking for. Here, you can apply under one of three types: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, or International Graduate. Each has its own criteria based on work history, schooling, and language skills. Get nominated here, and you boost your odds of becoming a Canadian permanent resident big time.
The Express Entry route lines up with Canada's federal Express Entry system that handles the application process for three kinds of economic immigration: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, and Canadian Experience. If you fit the bill for one of these and you're keen on life in PEI, you could get a nod from the PEI PNP. Getting this nod also gives you extra points in the federal system, which can help you get a Canadian PR invite faster.
Both the Labor Impact and Express Entry pathways offer folks who have what PEI is after a solid option for moving to this lovely island and helping its communities and economy grow.
