This marked the 30th round of Skills Immigration and the 6th for Entrepreneur Immigration held by British Columbia in 2023. British Columbia issues ITAs to qualifying candidates typically every week, with certain exceptions. The timing, volume, and date of the latest BC PNP draw are all dictated by the needs of the BC PNP application pool at the time of the invitation round.

Candidates are ranked and assessed based on their scores on the BC PNP points calculator. Points are awarded based on criteria such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Adaptability, and Spousal Sponsorship.
Those candidates who achieve the highest scores are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency through the BC PNP.
