The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) executed another draw targeting Skills Immigration on August 15, 2023.
During the latest BC PNP draw, a total of 158 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were extended to Skilled Workers and International Graduates, all of whom needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 60 to qualify.
This marks the third such draw for Skills Immigration that British Columbia has carried out in August alone. The draw preceding this one took place on August 9, extending ITAs to 195 qualified candidates, each requiring at least a score of 60.

British Columbia dispenses ITAs to eligible individuals generally on a weekly basis, contingent on the immediate needs and the existing application inventory of the BC PNP at the time of the draw.
Invitations targeting the Skills Immigration pathways might be influenced by several criteria:
- Educational background, including degree, specialty, and institution
- Recognized professional qualifications in B.C.
- Linguistic capabilities
- Occupation and related experience
- Salary and/or occupational skill level
- Intentions to reside, be employed, and establish oneself in a particular area
- Strategic factors that meet specific labor market demands in B.C. or align with government-led projects or initiatives
